Dragonfly: NASA’s Most Exciting Mission This Century Is Taking Shape

Dragonfly, NASA’s rotorcraft planned to reach Titan in 2034, promises a new kind of planetary science. By combining flights and ground data, the mission could map Titan’s dunes, seas, and geology in ways processed rovers can’t. The craft’s aerial perspective enables close-up discoveries, faster terrain scouting, and refreshed ideas about Titan’s chemistry and potential habitability. If successful, Dragonfly might rewrite how we study distant worlds, turning one moon into a living lab for climate, biology, and solar system history.
