Factors like analytical thinking and skepticism play a crucial role in distinguishing truth from falsehood. Interestingly, familiarity with a claim often leads to belief, highlighting the dangers of echo chambers in media. To combat this, we need better critical thinking education and a conscious effort to challenge our biases. In a world rife with misinformation, awareness and analytical skills are our best defenses.
