We’re excited to share that Rocky Mountain Atheists will be part of Calgary’s iconic 4th Street Lilac Festival 2026 — one of the city’s largest and most vibrant community events! First launched in 1990, the Lilac Festival has grown into a beloved Calgary tradition that celebrates the arrival of summer and the energy of the local community. Each year, 4th Street SW transforms into a lively, pedestrian-friendly space filled with music, creativity, and connection. This year’s festival will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 (10 AM – 6 PM). As always, it’s a free, family-friendly event that draws over 100,000 attendees and features more than 500 vendors, including local businesses, artisans, performers, and community organizations. It’s an incredible opportunity to experience Calgary at its best — diverse, open, and full of life — all in one place.
It is a day full off:
- Local artisans, creators, and small businesses
- Food trucks and a wide variety of local cuisine
- Live music and performances across multiple stages
- Street performers and interactive entertainment
- Non-profit organizations and community groups
- Family-friendly activities and kids’ zones
