NASA’s Voyager 1 is back online after months of complex long-distance repairs. The spacecraft, now over 15 billion miles from Earth, had been sending corrupted data since November. Engineers traced the issue to a single chip, leading to successful repairs. Voyager 1, launched in 1977, continues to gather data from interstellar space, travelling about a million miles per day. It’s famous for the “Pale Blue Dot” photo and carrying the Golden Records curated by Carl Sagan. Despite power concerns, Voyager 1 will continue its mission into next year.
