Planets Around Black Holes

Interstellar maps keep getting more complicated. Beyond our Milky Way, galaxies cluster in groups and superclusters, shaping a vast cosmic web. Not all stars live in galaxies—intergalactic stars wander the universe, often within clusters, and some may carry planets with them. Rogue worlds could host subsurface life or warmed hydrogen atmospheres, while planets around supermassive black holes at galactic centers might form under a narrow “sweet spot” of temperature and material. If correct, this could expand where planets exist and even reveal exotic objects. Microlensing could be the telltale sign, making this a testable twist to our cosmic inventory.
