Media Literacy Week invites Canadians to pause and rethink how we navigate the fast-changing digital world. Hosted by MediaSmarts, this national initiative runs from October 27 to 31 and marks its 20th anniversary in 2025. From AI to misinformation, the event tackles the challenges of living online through workshops, panels, and community events across Canada. It’s not just for educators—parents, students, and organizations can all get involved, learn how to evaluate information critically, and strengthen their digital citizenship. On October 29, Digital Citizen Day encourages everyone to share responsibly and make online spaces better for all.
