We are a group based in the City of Calgary that aims to be a safe and supportive secular community dedicated to serving society; to support those who have been marginalized or traumatized as a result of faith-based beliefs, and to provide and promote evidence-based learning opportunities.
We want to nurture secularism, skepticism and community, promoting Humanism as an alternative to religious and faith-based systems.

August 15, 2025The Board of the Rocky Mountain Atheists meets once a month on the third Friday for an hour. We meet ahead of Skeptics in the Pub. All are welcome to join in our discussions as we work to grow RMA into a thriving and caring community. However, only Board Members can vote. But you CAN join the Board!

August 17, 2025I have reserved a 10-person raft from Lazy Day Raft Rentals. The total cost is just $27.50 each. If we have fewer people, I will try to book a smaller raft and we will divide the costs accordingly. Enjoy seeing Calgary from the river, a very different perspective! Join us for the 2025 edition of Global Skeptics in the Pub! It will begin at 7 pm local time in New Zealand on Friday, August 22 and end at 9 pm local time in Hawai’i (24 hours later on the same calendar day). Anyone can join at any time and see, meet, and interact with skeptics the world over! RMA participated in the 2024 edition and it was a lot of fun! Follow the Meetup link for all the details.
